The History of Orwyn

Orwyn was founded by the Q Continuum at the dawn of time in this dimension as an outpost in a section of space long forgotten by all but the Q. In travels around the universe various forms of life were found each unique in its own way. The race that interested the explores were humans on the planet deemed Earth by the humans. The interest in humans was so great that many Q took part in shaping them as they grew. These Q took the form of Gods in early human eyes. Each Q had a slightly different approach to how to grow the human being. As the humans of earth work together more fewer Q's  were needed to guide the human growth. So Q's started guiding the human less and the Gods faded in to the short human history being cast off as figments of  the imagination instead of the great beings they were. As time moved on the human evolved and was not as impressed by "divine intervention" and the grip the Q had on human growth shrank and all but one gave up on guiding the human race. This Q stayed on Earth and took a role of observer in the growth of humans. Centuries passed and the Q stayed at his post always looking for a way in to the human culture he helped form since the dawn of man. After humans made their first contact with an alien race the Q saw how he would enter the human world it was just a matter of years now. In under 180 years time the world power known as the United States of America fell and this was the chance the Q needed to be part of the human world. With in minutes of the fall of the government the Q was in the former state of Ohio in perfect disguise to blend in with the humans. In under a week he had the former state under his control and a foot hold in place on earth. The Q of course did not officially lead the nation he founded. Instead he found a family and made them the royal family and they ruled until the time was right for the Q to return and rule the nation. The Q was never out of the life of his new nation he guided it through all major obstacles but for the most part let the humans run the nation how they saw fit. When the nation was ready to venture into space the Q came back and revealed his true self and led the nation into the empire it is today. To this day the Emperor is the only Q in Orwyn.
